I really am beginning to feel it's all WAY more simple than we're giving life credit for........ I don't think spirituality exists.......just people, and their self awareness.which they tend to ascribe to spirituality. I've become a huge proponent of "it is what it is......deal with it." Agnosticism has opened my eyes. To me .Atheism is just another relig........not worth my short time here on earth.

although the wts teaches and has stated many times in their publications that the world in general, by way of such things as "birthday" celebrations, christmas, and other annual events, actually eulogize and extol great glory upon man, the individual himself, and thus, by way of whats known as "creature worship," practice wholesale idolatry!.

Welll.far be it for me to defend an org. that I've departed from.......but..........aren't we filled with a little bit of hate, and dis-information? Sheesh.you're as bad as they are. PLEASE try, and get your facts straight before you lay out so much rubbish.......it's disheartening to see crap like that. Creature worship?,gimme a break, don't you think that's reaching a bit?........ Counting time.......is it so unscriptural to try, and be organized, and keep track of progress?.wether it be forward or back?.it's got nothing to do with flaunting rightousness in front of man....jeez...ever see billy graham?....now that's flaunting! 1914.okay, on that one I tend to agree with you.......albeit this really means nothing for the fact that so far EVERY relig. has got something wrong that it tends ta spout off as truth....and no one can agree when Jerusalem REALLY fell.....NO ONE! but every one seems ta think they know. College/higher learning?.........while I agree that there was a time.in fact when I was college age.that it was counseled against.we were never told it was 'Sinful'......that right there is a lie on your part..they were counseling to put yourself into full time ministry instead.which I agree, is a huge mistake.....at least as far as making a future for yourself in this place we all live...I DO have anger over that one, and feel like it put myself, and friends at that time at a great dis-advantage for life.but....let it go eh?....It is what it is.I've moved on.and am making a fine living. 1975?..........hey.my grandparents sold everything in 74, and moved to Columbia to serve where the need was great.all because they belived it was gonna be over in 75..well it wasn't.they came back..and with parasites, and health problems ta boot..BUT that was their choice.and I still don't see where it was ever printed by the society in black, and white that 75 was the year.......sorry bro.that one's gotta be chalked up to a huge rumour amongst the brothers.that some people REALLY acted on.bad choice.oh well.their loss. as far as baptismal questions?.well....at least it's better than having yer head sprinkled with a few drops of water when yer just a slobbering little baby crapping yer pants, and crying for mammas teet. which to me seems just as idiotic..... anyways.I guess I gotta remind myself that just because I left one crazy org.There's as many more people out there fueled by hate/money/greed/and fear. nice try.

by dawg inas many of you know, i've been writing letters to family members telling them how damn stupid i think the gb is; providing proofs of all their comedic gaffs (building mansions for prophets and the like) including some of their most outlandish quotes-which i know all of us can remember verbatim.
spurned on by mary and others in this site, i've decided that i will try a new ploy.
my family reunion is every labor day and i've decided to wear a tee shirt to it with russell, rutherford, and franz's images on it... i will include images of a pyramid, beth sarim, on the front and 607?

How Would You Approach a JW "studying" in Public Transportation?

recently, when i left the train at my destination station i noticed a jw, sitting there, obviously "studying" the "revelation"-book for the night's cbs.
it was too late for my, but i was thinking about saying something like "don't you get it at the third time that this is bullshit?

Being in a train, I could point out that in the "Finished Mystery"......... dude.......Nothing from a past pub. will even stir a person who believes they have the truth.for the simple fact that the society tells us the light keeps getting brighter.....excusing any, and all responsibility on their part to be accurate..leave the poor sod alone.they are on their own journey.as are you.take that aggression and go buy a good beer..crack it open.and drink it down in celebration that YOU are free of the grasp.
